Mommy, Daddy and I are going to Prospect Park. Dolly’s coming with us. (You can see my Grandpa Mike’s Kosciusko Bridge in the background, on theBQE).
Here we are at the park, the taxi leaving.
I’ve just realized Dolly is gone and I’m so so sad. Daddy’s hugging me and Mommy’s trying to comfort me.
Daddy buys me a ice cream cone, strawberry, my favorite, with sprinkles. I feel a little less sad.
Here’s the taxi leaving New York on the George Washington Bridge. You can see the Little Red Lighthouse on the New York side.
Now the taxi’s returning from New Jersey. Underneath the bridge is a little peninsula of land, Ross Camp, where Grandmalen used to picnic with her mom and dad and Grandpa Ben when she was a little girl, years ago.
We’re going home. Our taxi comes to the park and who should be inside but Dolly!
